Faunus, designed by Sindre Bremnes, started as a display cut to Satyr, but evolved in a slightly different direction with different detailing. The two still make a perfect pair, however, with Satyr for body copy and Faunus for headlines. The distinct edges and angles in the curves set them apart from standard serifs, and become striking in larger sizes. Suitable for short texts, editorial design, or display applications.
